FAQ's

How do I store my cake?

We recommend eating your cake at room temperature, however if you aren’t To enjoy your cake at its best, we recommend serving it at room temperature. However, if you won’t be serving the cake within 1-2 hours of pickup, please store it in the refrigerator, ideally in its box. This helps protect the cake from absorbing any strong odours.

When you're ready to serve, take the cake out of the refrigerator about 2 hours beforehand, and allow it to come to room temperature (away from direct sunlight). This ensures the cake’s flavours and texture are at their best.

For optimal taste and freshness, we recommend enjoying your cake within 4 days of pickup.

How do I transport my cake?

Your cake is a delicate, and we want to make sure it arrives at your event looking as beautiful as when you picked it up. For the best results during transport, we recommend the following:

  • Keep it steady: Place the cake on a flat, even surface, such as the footwell of your car or the boot. This helps avoid any tipping or movement.
  • Mind the temperature: If you're traveling during warm weather, make sure to keep the car cool. Heat can cause the buttercream to soften quickly, which may lead to the layers shifting or the frosting melting.

By handling your cake with care, you'll ensure it reaches your destination in perfect condition.
